Just Add Ink...#211

Happy Easter this Good Friday. May your Easter break be a safe and happy one.

Today, I am sharing our latest Just Add Ink challenge, a sketch put together by the lovely Paula.

I really enjoyed playing with the sketch to create a birthday card for my beautiful niece Fiarna, who has just become a teenager. I also enjoyed playing again with the cheery Birthday Basics DSP.

I hope she liked it and again I decorated the inside...

The Design Team have also had fun playing with sketch so don't forget to check them out and hopefully you will feel inspired to join in our challenge as well. We would love to see your interpretation of the sketch too.

Just Add Ink #209

Friday is always a good day as it is not only the last day of the working week for many but also time for another Just Add Ink challenge. This week's challenge has been put forward by Dely and it is to...

Just Add....Layers!

What a multitude of options this gives for cards (Narelle is fab at adding layers!), for gift tags, for gift boxes, for scrapbook layouts, for lots more I am sure.

I have been wanting to play with my Hexagon Hive Thinlits Die since I got it a few weeks back and thought what a good opportunity to with this challenge as I was envisaging a card with layers of hexagons putting a focus on various spaces.

I chose a beautiful and cheery pack of DSP, Birthday Basics, and some matching cardstock and off I went creating!

As usual when I am really happy with how a card turns out I tend to carry my enjoyment through to the middle of the card adding a bit of embelishment there too.

Starting 2 April, each week in April Stampin' Up! will be offering us new deals. These deals won't be pre-announced (to even us demos) so you'll have to check in to my SU! website each Wednesday to see what's being offered and to take advantage of them before they are gone. Best of Snow!

Stampin' Up! celebrated their 25th Anniversary last October and as part of the celebrations each month a 'Best of' stamp sets was released. This month is the last of these and it is 'Best of Snow'.

Isn't that hedgehog cute dressing up a snowman just to look like him?
